Wake with nature outside your door, inspire and respire with the rhythm of the day, and be serenaded by the symphony of the jungle. After a morning skate, follow gentle paths to your bungalow, explore the beach just steps away, or just chill by the pool. Norte's amenities blend with the natural landscape and the grounds are designed to encourage rest and relaxation.

FOOD
Retreat pricing includes daily breakfast and lunch from Norte's neighboring plant-based café, Naked Foods. Plant-based, organic, local, and always the highest quality.
For dinner, we are free to explore local restaurants reflecting Nosara's diverse international cuisine, just steps away from Norte. From Costa Rican classics to seafood, vegan, and more, there's an option for every budget and palate. 2 dinners are included in the retreat and will include one sunset dinner at the popular La Luna, on the beach.
On-site, there's a private bar, "The Jungle Bar," offers cocktails and superfood smoothies daily from 8 am to 11 pm, providing a comfortable space for group relaxation and connection
SKOACHING WITH AUNTY SKATES
Hi! I'm Aunty Skates and the only thing I love as much as skateboarding is teaching other adults how to skateboard. I didn't learn how to skate as a kid, I learned as a middle aged mom who still needs to cook dinner and go to work the next day. Essentially, I can't afford to get hurt! I know all the fears and I know that it takes a bunch of small little steps and warm-ups in order to achieve those big goals. I also know how incredibly challenging it is to get on a skateboard as a grown woman. Believe me, I know!
And that's how I teach. I break things down into small steps that are obtainable and easy to understand. I work through the fears with you because I can relate. I watch to make sure your feet are in the right place and you're turning your shoulders at the right time. I create a safe, judgement free space so my students can worry about learning their tricks and not about how they look. I celebrate EVERY. SINGLE. WIN. No matter how seemingly small. Because it's a big freaking deal! And most of all, I make sure everyone is having fun.
THe
SKatepark
A brand-new state of the art skatepark designed by NewLine Skateparks, the Nosara skatepark is minutes away from Norte Nosara, surrounded by palm trees, and the sounds of the jungle.
There is a beginner area to practice pushing. tictacs, ollies, going up and down banks, and low drop-ins. There is also a flowy bowl with an easy roll-in and various drop-ins from 3' to 7'. Great for learning how to catch and keep speed, pumping, carving frontside and backside, popping out, and feeling like you are flying!

A TYPICAL DAY
Wake up to the sound of birds and start the morning early with a delicious and nutritious breakfast. Grab your skateboard and walk 10 minutes to the skatepark for some light stretching and beginner lessons, followed by a free skate. Back home, take a quick dip in our pool and chat with your new friends about your skate progress. A short siesta after lunch followed by a restorative yoga session. Head to the beach for a sunset walk or back to the park for a sunset skate before a group dinner in town. Finish the night at our own in-house lounge area.
